What is a Brand<>Retailer Connection?

Connections represent each unique Brand <> Retailer relationship that uses RetailReady to ship through your facilities. Once a connection is activated, RetailReady receives orders from the Retailer on behalf of the Brand through that connection.

Now let's walkthrough how to request these connections!

1. Open your RetailReady Dashboard and navigate to the 'Connections' page

   

2. Now on Connections page, click '+ Request Connection' in the top right corner

   

3. Fill in the Brand details

   1. If choosing an existing brand:

      1. Select the Brand from the drop down menu and fill in the Brand contact email

         

   2. If it's a new Brand:

      1. Type in the new Brand's name and click '+ Create New Brand'

         

      2. Fill in the Brand contact email

4. Click 'Continue'

   

5. Select the Retailer

   1. First search to see if the desired Retailer is in our catalog and click on the Retailer

      

   2. If your desired retailer is not in our catalog, type in the desired retailer and click '+ Create New Retailer'

      

6. Fill in the Brands EDI setup

   1. If RetailReady manages the Brands EDI connection with this retailer:

      1. Select 'RetailReady EDI'

      2. Click '+ Request Connection'

         

   2. If the Brand uses another provider:

      1. Select 'Another provider'

         

      2. Fill in the EDI provider's name and their contact email

         

      3. Click '+ Request Connection'

         

   3. If the Brand doesn't require EDI support:

      1. Select 'Another provider'

         

      2. Type None for EDI provider and none@none.com for the EDI provider contact email

         

      3. Click '+ Request Connection'
