Send EDI Kick-Off Email

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Before configuration begins, Brands or 3PLs must send an EDI kick-off email to both RetailReady and their EDI provider to align on requirements and expectations.

  1. Select the appropriate RetailReady email template below — one for new partnerships, one for migrations.

  2. Address the email to the retailer contact, onboarding@retailreadyai.com, the RetailReady onboarding manager, and the EDI provider contact.

  3. Confirm receipt of the email.

  4. Reply to any questions or follow-ups as they come in.

Email

Hello,

We are migrating our EDI traffic to leverage RetailReady.
During this migration effort, we’d like to double check our EDI implementation follows your latest requirements and update our connection to you, so we need the following information:

  • Your most up to date EDI requirements (guidelines, implementation guides or specifications)

  • Your connectivity requirements (AS2, FTP/SFTP, VAN)

    • If you’re connected to us through AS2, can you send us your AS2 ID, URL and certificate?

    • If you’re connected to us through FTP/SFTP, can you send us your server details and credentials?

    • If you’re connected to us through a VAN, we’d like to connect using AS2 or FTP/SFTP. Is this possible?
If not, we’d like to use a different ISA ID with you to help with our VAN provider migration.

Unless you have updated your requirements, we plan to apply the same mapping logic, so transactions you’ll receive after the migration should be the same.

If you require us to test our EDI implementation with you, let us know your testing requirements (testing scenarios).

We are looking forward to completing this migration!

Please reply to this email with the above information at your earliest convenience.

Cheers,
