Reprocessing Orders After Deleting Them in ShipHero

Last updated: May 4, 2026

What happens when I delete an order in ShipHero and reprocess it in RetailReady?

If you delete an order in ShipHero and then reprocess and resend it in RetailReady, the order will be sent to ShipHero with the same order name.

How to Delete and Reprocess Orders

  1. In ShipHero, locate the order you want to temporarily remove from fulfillment

  2. Delete the order completely - note that canceling the order is not the same as deleting it

  3. When you're ready to fulfill the order, go to RetailReady and reprocess the order

  4. The order will be sent back to ShipHero with the original order name

Important Notes

  • Canceling vs. Deleting: Canceling an order in ShipHero is not the same as deleting it. You must completely delete the order for this workflow to work properly.

  • Order Name: You do not need to change the order name when reprocessing - the same order name can be used.

  • Deletion Requirements: The order must be truly deleted from ShipHero, not just canceled or marked as fulfilled.
